Humble Food Balsamic Vinegar

Saba is a condiment from Modena, a region in Emilia-Romagna, Italy known especially for balsamic vinegar. It is a grape syrup made from grapes that are grown organically.

Saba, or Sapa comes from the Latin “savor” or “sapor”, which means “flavor”. 

Its taste, very sweet and flavoury, goes naturally well with modern cuisine recipes. Ideal as a sweetener in the preparation of desserts, ice cream and especially yoghurt and semifreddo. It also goes well as a sauce for cooked vegetables and cheese.
